If you cook from scratch it is hard to beat the LDS prices
The Mormons have a store front, I thought the Amish had 100% market share on faith based grocery stores.
Many of the church welfare/career services offices also have a home food storage facility. They used to be part of the church graineries. While the bishops storehouse is set up like a grocery store (where people with food needs can come and pick up approved amounts of certain goods, similar to WIC at the big box stores), the home food storage centers have more basic items like canned flour, dry beans, potato flakes, onions, carrots, apples, wheat, oats, flour, macaroni, etc. the cans are good for 30 years.
